The Moving Wall is coming back to Kalkaska for the third time since it first appeared in 2004.  The Moving Wall will arrive May 17th at the Kalkaska County Fairgrounds and remain through May 21, 2018.  As part of Armed Forces Week, there are several events scheduled to Commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the Vietnam War, to include a Welcome Home Ceremony Commemorating Vietnam War Veterans by the Daughters of the American Revolution and the dedication of a Blue Star Memorial By-Way Marker along the KART Trail as a tribute to our Armed Forces by the local chapter of the Michigan Garden Club (Quality Thyme Garden Club).  In addition, we will have displays, renowned guest speakers and concerts by the 126th Army Band and our high school bands.
